Meet Our Team
Deborah Seymour MSN AGACNP-BC APRN CCRN
Medical Director
Deborah Seymour APRN is the owner and founder of Pause CT. She began her medical career in London, England, where she graduated from the Royal Free School of Nursing. She is a board-certified acute adult gerontology specialist with 35 years' experience in caring for the older adult.
After emigrating to the United States in 2003 she attended Sacred Heart University where she obtained her Bachelor's degree, and practiced in critical care at UCONN Medical Center, as well as St Francis Hospital, Hartford CT, in the cardiac ICU and the Emergency Room.
Deborah did her graduate studies at the University of Connecticut. Following graduation, she practiced in the Cardiac ICU at Yale New Haven Hospital. She was also a clinical faculty member at Yale University School of Nursing, teaching nurse practitioner students during their clinical placements in the ICU.

Deborah has practiced at many of Connecticut’s hospitals, including UCONN Medical Center, St Francis Hospital, Yale New Haven Hospital, Backus Hospital, St Mary’s Hospital, Mount Sinai, Middlesex Hospital and Hospital of Central Connecticut.
Deborah’s great passion is menopause management and obesity medicine, where she is able to make a big difference in the quality of life of many people struggling with hormone deficiencies. She now practices in primary care, and is a menopause specialist.
