At your initial visit we will spend time getting to understand all your concerns, your health history and your symptoms. You will have an intensive hour-long one-to-one visit with our experienced provider who will be able to answer all your questions. This is where we will establish your care and formulate a treatment plan to get you feeling back to your old self as soon as possible.

$100 per month

This includes the cost of Pause CT closely monitoring your health and managing your hormone replacement therapy, and enable us to issue you regular prescriptions. You will have direct access to a provider who can answer your questions and adjust your therapy as necessary. This fee covers the cost of your follow-up appointments.

Pause CT can send a prescription to a pharmacy of your choice, which may be covered by your insurance. If a specific medication is not covered by your insurance, you may pay out of pocket, or utilize a saving plan such as GoodRx. Some medications may not be available from your regular pharmacy, and so the prescription will be sent to a compounding pharmacy where it will be specifically formulated for you, and you will pay for the medication out of pocket. Compounded medications are individually priced, and all costs will be discussed with you prior to ordering.

We advise getting a comprehensive lab panel prior to starting therapy. This can provide a baseline as you begin treatment. Labs are not required to begin therapy, but can be helpful in guiding therapy. Please be aware that while your insurance may be used for lab work, Pause CT cannot guarantee coverage, and you will be responsible for any costs that your insurance does not cover. You may also elect to pay privately for your lab work. Sometimes, paying privately up-front can be cheaper than receiving a bill from the lab. Pricing options are as follows:

• The Elite Panel - $250

If you have multiple health concerns, you may opt for our most comprehensive lab panel, The Elite Panel tests for many varied values, including a metabolic panel, complete blood count, hormones, thyroid, lipid panel, vitamin D and B12, cortisol and inflammation markers.

• Pause CT Hormone Complete Panel - $200

If you want to purely focus on your hormones, we recommend the Pause Hormone Complete Panel, which looks at all your hormone levels, including estradiol, testosterone (free & total), sex hormone binding globulin, luteinizing hormone and follicular stimulating hormone.

• Follow-up Lab Panel - $99

While you are on hormone replacement therapy, you will need to have repeat follow-up labs at 3 or 6 month intervals, in order to ensure your levels are optimal. Once you feel well and are well managed, those labs may be performed once a year.
